Allyson Sanders and Summer Aldridge became friends through a chance encounter a few years ago and have been making magic at events together regularly ever since.

 

Allyson works full time at OCTC and she and her family own The Party Space Place, LLC and Bayside at the Party Space Place - both amazing Owensboro venues. Summer is the senior director of engagement at Kentucky Wesleyan College and does freelance web design and marketing. Between them, they plan over 100 events per year from start to finish including the coordinating, decorating, hosting, marketing and setup/teardown of corporate, nonprofit and social events & weddings. Both Allyson and Summer are married to their Wesleyan Sweethearts, Marshall Sanders and Kirk Aldridge. The hubbies are very involved in the business and you'll see them around often! 
 

Something Borrowed officially opened for business in June of 2022. Since then, our services have grown to include digital photo booths, audio guestbooks, unique event rentals, wedding planning/day-of coordination, nonprofit/corporate event planning, custom print design and neon signs, & more is being added daily!
